Low interest rates

Review of and comments to the book "How low interest rates ..."

In the spring of 2025, the distinguished economist Professor Jesper Rangvid published “How Low Interest Rates Change the World: Global Trends Caused by Low Rates and Emerging Factors Shaping the Future of Rates.”. When the book was translated into Danish this autumn, the Danish Finance Society (CFA Society Denmark) asked me to contribute a review and commentary for their journal Finans/Invest.

I warmly recommend reading the book over the Christmas holidays. It provides a solid foundation for reflecting on what may emerge in the years ahead, as pressure mounts for long term interest rates to rise. The book in English can be purchased via this link.
